Branding studio in Perth
Kestaris builds brand identities in Perth: positioning, naming direction, logo, typography, colour and the guidelines that hold it together. A brand is the system, not just the mark — we deliver it so anyone who touches your business afterwards can apply it correctly.
Branding is a system, not a logo
A logo on its own solves very little. What makes a business recognisable is everything around it being consistent: the typeface, the palette, the way photographs are treated, the tone of the words, and the discipline to keep using them.
We build that system and document it, so the identity survives contact with the real world — a contractor making a flyer, an editor cutting a reel, a staff member posting on a Tuesday. Our own identity started as a hand drawing and became a full brand book, which is roughly the journey we take clients through.

◆ RELEVANT WORK
Projects where we did this
Both projects ran brand and digital together — the identity was designed and then immediately applied.
◆ PRICING
What it costs
Brand projects vary widely depending on whether you need strategy from scratch, how many applications are required, and whether guidelines are part of the scope. We quote per project after understanding what exists already and what has to be built.
◆ QUESTIONS
Frequently asked
How long does a brand identity project take?
Typically four to eight weeks. Strategy and exploration take the most time, and rushing that part is where most weak identities come from. Applications and guidelines follow once the core system is agreed. Timelines depend heavily on how quickly feedback comes back.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand?
A logo is one asset. A brand is the whole system — the mark, the typography, the colour, the photography treatment, the tone of voice and the rules that keep them consistent. A business with a strong logo and no system still looks different on every surface, which is what makes it forgettable.
Do I get brand guidelines?
Yes, where guidelines are in scope. They document the logo and its clear space, the palette with exact values, the type system, imagery direction and the misuse rules. That document is what lets a contractor or a new staff member apply the brand correctly without asking.
Can you rebrand an existing business?
Yes. We start by working out what has equity worth keeping — often a colour, a name or a shape customers already recognise — and what is holding you back. A full reset is sometimes right, but an evolution that keeps recognition intact is frequently the better commercial call.
Do you design the website as part of the brand?
We can, and it usually produces a better result. When the same studio designs the identity and builds the site, the brand is applied properly rather than approximated. It can also be handled separately if you already have a web partner.
